UFood Grill- Grand Opening, February 13

Another week breezes by and what do I have to share? Some news about a new, healthy eatery opening on 12300 South 300 East in Draper called UFood. Somebody has FINALLY caught on to the concept that there are people breathing and living in the known universe who don't want to live off of white rice and greasy, fried fast food. These people (known as the health-conscious) like fruits, steamed vegetables, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, and grilled meat. The health-conscious will eat those yummy, not-so-good for you foods on occasion, but we like to try to maintain a healthy diet for the majority of our meals. Here are the key healthy diet contributions that UFood offers (taken from their advertisements in the Salt Lake Tribune and the Deseret News on Feb. 13, 2009):

**We bake, grill, steam, never fry
**No added trans fat ever
**Organic, all natural and free-range foods whenever possible
**Whole-grain brown rice and breads
**Lite dressings and reduced fat cheeses
**Lots of vegetarian items that are tasty enough for meat eaters too!

I remember seeing an article in The Enterprise a year ago about UFoods coming to Utah. It's nice to see this promise come to fruition! Check it out and let me know what you think.

I'm so glad you posted about this. I laughed when you wrote that someone FINALLY figured out we don't wall want to eat junky food. You'll have to tell me when you go there. I definitely want to try it.

By the way, did you know that IHOP has a free day on the 24th of this month? All day, free food.
