My Latest Pumpkin Encounter

I have an addiction. It is called pumpkin. My latest pumpkin encounter happened this morning at the Starbucks in the Foothill Village Shopping Center. For MONTHS I've been craving a non-fat pumpkin steamer- basically hot skim milk with spiced pumpkin flavoring- it's DIVINE. Better than hot chocolate (on some days). I also had a slice of their pumpkin bread, which had chopped pumpkin seeds on the top (NICE touch). No matter WHAT kind of week (or month, or year) you are having, you can take a bite of pumpkin bread, take a long sip of pumpkin steamer, look at the blue sky, take a deep breath of the crisp autumn air, and think, "this day...is going to be a good day."
