It was fun to go on vacation for a couple of weeks and come back to see this:
Big tomatoes! Growing on our hanging tomato plant (see below).
This thing is getting out of control.
The flower bulbs my friend Nicole sent me for my birthday are growing nicely... I can't wait to see them bloom!
More tomatoes growing- we're going to have a lot of fresh salsa and basil, tomato, and fresh mozzarella pizza this summer!
This tomato plant is turning into a monster. And our jalapeno and red and green pepper plants are growing nicely. As is our cucumber, watermelon, and cantaloupe plants. Our rainbow swiss chard isn't doing as well for some reason. Oh well- this is definitely a learning process!
Our green bean plants are growing like crazy...
Look- baby jalapenos! So cute!
And our basil plant has revived itself. And I'd like to introduce our recent veggie transplant from Utah- onions! Thanks to my sister in law for sharing her wealth of walking onion plants!
