Chocolate, anyone? The Utah Chocolate Show, now in its 6th year, is an annual two day expo that is open to both consumers and businesses. There are chocolate demonstrations, hands-on specialty classes, booths, and recipes for one and all. In 2006 there was a Chocolate Sculpture Gallery (not sure if they are continuing that this year), and there are also themed contests: a wedding cake competition, hand-made chocolate competition, and Utah Loves Chocolate photo contest. Booth vendors will include local favorites like V Chocolates, Utah Truffles, a Chocotopia Theme Shoppe, and Amano Artisan Chocolate, a chocolate factory that makes chocolate “from bean to bar” in Utah county.
The show is going on November 20-21 from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. at the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy, Utah. For more information, go to http://utahchocolateshow.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1. Cost to get in is $7 each, and kids under 5 get in free. You can buy your tickets online or at the door.
Does anyone want to go with me on Nov. 21? =)

I seriously wouldn't miss this thing! I'm going to be spending two days in November making hand dipped chocolates. Hopefully the Chocolate Show will give me some good ideas!
So there IS a heaven on earth! Mmmm, chocolate. Sorry to say I work that day, but it's nice to know about for the future.
