So, Stephen thought it would be fun to go camping in the western North Carolina mountains a week or so ago- yes, camping in late November. My boy loves to camp and fish. Thankfully, so do other people we have met in our ward, and in Steve's dental school! We went with Larry and Melody- both are dental students in Stephen's class. We had a great time camping and fishing with them.
Stephen with one of his 18 fish he caught that day. It was a good day to go fishing, I guess- the river was packed, and the fish were hungry! We only did catch and release, though.
Even I got in on the action! I caught two fish that day- I was sporting waders and everything. I will admit, it is kind of fun to catch fish "in the wild." And I did it while fly fishing for the first time ever! Always fun to learn a new skill...
