I am proud to announce that we had our first Charleston visitors last weekend! Thanks, Kathryn, Mark, and Ila for making it down to spend some time with us.
We took them on a tour of the dental school; the weather was absolutely perfect that weekend- warm and sunny.

Me and my baby on the beach... in February... in shorts. Oh yeah.
This was Ila's first visit to a beach. We went to Isle of Palms and Folly Beach.
We also walked around Waterfront Park in downtown Charleston.
We also drove over to John's Island and saw the Angel Oak.
And what wouldn't be a tour of the dental school without a trip to the simulation lab to pretend like you are working on a live patient?
We also took them down to the battery.
And Charleston Harbor.
Thanks for coming to visit! We loved having family in town. We cooked, ate Southern food, saw the sights, and just hung out. It was a great weekend.

Brad and I can't wait to come visit, it may not be this summer but we are planning on next summer...is is too soon to book it?
